SNITCH Stats, free tool for a better understanding of web statistics

Welcome to SNITCH Stats. SNITCH is a (free!) mini-javascript stats tool that you "plug-in" to your website and start receiving detailed and genuinely useful statistics information for your website. SNITCH takes the minimum of available data from the visitors to your website, in order to bring you the most important and most useful webstats available to you, presenting them in a way that makes sense and enhances your understanding of the people who come to your website.

SNITCH also separates crawler and robot traffic automatically so you'll get an accurate reading of the real people visiting your site. SNITCH can also identify pay-per-click visitors and separate each "human" visitor by its source, either PPC, Search Engine, Link, or no direct referer.

If it's good, why is it free?

SNITCH is free because it is simply not a commercial project. SNITCH is available to use on any website that receives fewer than 500,000 visitors per month, our recommendation being that if your site receives a greater number of users than this then a log reader stats analysis program will be more suited to your needs. Stats are a webmasters (and marketers!) most important tool for knowing how to advance a website.

How does it work?
